ABLECARE OILFIELD SERVICES GROUP: DIRECTOR


Mr. Paul Abela

He has been with the group from the start and is responsible for overall direction and policy making. Mr Abela Enjoys a wide ranging experience in leading positions, in building engineering services and related major project and property development.

He has sat on various boards and participated in various private and national initiatives. Between 1992 and 1997 he was appointed Chairman of Gozo Channel Company Limited by the Malta government, with specific remit to overhaul the inter-

island ferry service, which in fact led to the building of new ferries.


Mr. Ray Ciantar

Mr. Ray Ciantar is a Certified Public Accountant by profession and is a fellow of the Malta Institute of Accountants. He has held various high level posts in different industries throughout his career, the most recent being that of Financial Controller with Malta Gantry Manufacturing Limited.

A company set up in 1994 to design and build 24 gantry cranes for the then Malta Freeport Terminal 2 Project. The Company was wound up in 2000 on completion of the Malta Freeport project. Mr. Ciantar was instrumental in managing the development of a 16,000 square meter site into a fabricating facility with supporting facilities and offices for the fabrication of heavy steel engineering components.

He joined Mainticare Limited as a Financial Controller in 2001 from the commencement of operations and has been with the Group since. Throughout this period he has worked on various rig-stop projects in Sicily and Malta and has gained vast experience in financial planning and methods related to this field.


Mr. Duncan Debrincat

Mr. Duncan Brincat is the Administration Director of the Group. He read a degree in Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) at the University of Malta and graduated in 2003 as an Economist. Mr. Brincat joined Mainticare Limited as an Administration Manager soon after completing his university studies, whereby he was crucial in the introduction of a quality management system adapted to the needs of job performance and client needs.

Throughout his employment he was involved in all the projects undertaken by the company, especially in the fields of procurement, quality control and job costing. He is also the officer in charge for the implementation and compliance to the ISO 9001:2008 standards.
